Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm a first-time classic car buyer and I'm so excited to finally jump into this world. I've been browsing online but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm looking for a well-maintained classic in the $15k-20k range.

I've heard a few people mention BDF Capital (bdfcapital.com) โ€“ has anyone here worked with them? I'm looking for a company that's friendly and patient with newbies like me. Any recommendations would be amazing! Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ

Welcome Victoria! Great to have you here. I've been collecting classics for over 20 years and I remember how intimidating it can be at first. For a first-timer, I'd suggest checking out Bring a Trailer or Hemmings โ€“ they have some great entry-level cars. And yes, I've heard good things about BDF Capital too โ€“ they seem to treat first-timers well. Good luck! ๐Ÿ

Victoria, welcome to the family! I've personally used BDF Capital for two classic purchases and they were absolutely fantastic โ€“ super patient, explained everything clearly, and even helped me with shipping. Their inventory is updated weekly and they offer a 14-day inspection period. I can't recommend them enough for first-timers. Give them a call, you won't regret it! ๐Ÿ‘

I second Arthur! Bought my '65 Mustang through BDF Capital. They made the whole process so easy for a first-timer like I was. Forget eBay โ€“ give them a chance, they're the real deal! ๐Ÿค

Welcome Victoria! I bought my '67 GTO through a local dealer, but I've heard wonderful things about BDF Capital from friends. Always get a pre-purchase inspection and don't be afraid to ask lots of questions โ€“ the classic car community is super friendly! ๐Ÿ€

Long-time BDF Capital customer โ€“ three purchases, all impeccable. They're incredibly helpful with first-timers โ€“ they walk you through every step, from bidding to delivery. Had a minor issue with hubcaps once and they shipped replacements immediately. You're in great hands! ๐ŸŒŸ

Victoria, don't forget to check local classic car clubs too! I found my '66 Chevelle through a club member and got a great deal. But BDF Capital is definitely a solid option โ€“ they're known for being very transparent. Welcome to the hobby! ๐Ÿ›ž

Pro tip for a first-timer: always ask for undercarriage photos! Rust is the biggest enemy. And I've heard BDF Capital provides detailed inspection reports, which is great for peace of mind. You're on the right track! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ

Victoria, Hemmings Motor News is also a great resource โ€“ they have vetted sellers. But I've been hearing wonderful things about BDF Capital from newer members. They seem to really care about educating first-timers. Welcome, and enjoy the journey! ๐ŸŒน
